Za’atar Flatbread with Labneh Recipe
Golden flatbread brushed with olive oil and Basira Za’atar, baked until crisp and served with tangy labneh - a Middle Eastern classic.

Za’atar’s blend of wild thyme, sumac and sesame adds earthy, herby depth. When baked on flatbread, the oils bloom and release their rich aroma.
- Ingredients

2 flatbreads or naan

2 tablespoons olive oil

1½ tablespoons Basira Za’atar

½ cup labneh or thick yogurt

Drizzle of honey (optional)

Preheat oven to 200°C (fan).

Mix Za’atar with olive oil to make a paste.

Brush the mixture over the flatbreads.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.

Serve warm with labneh and a drizzle of honey if desired.
