500g beef or lamb mince

1 small onion, grated

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon Basira 7 Spice

1 egg (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tin chopped tomatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh coriander or parsley to garnish
- Method

Mix mince, onion, garlic, 7 Spice, egg (if using), salt and pepper. Shape into small balls.

Heat oil in a pan, brown the meatballs on all sides.

Add tomatoes and a splash of water, simmer 15–20 minutes.

Adjust seasoning and garnish with herbs.
